What is Emotional Freedom Technique?
EFT is an energy healing technique which uses acupressure points to release negative emotions by tapping on points on the body (acupressure meridians). The technique unblocks, re-balances and helps to resolve emotional and physical blocks. It is a simple technique and is rapidly effective.
The tapping of acupressure points on the head, face and body is combined with verbalizing the identified problem followed by a general affirmation phrase. The EFT Therapist works with the client to balance the energy system with a form of psychological acupuncture (without needles!) to relieve emotional, psychological and physiological distress. This release restores the balance of the mind and body and allows natural healing to take place. It is a safe, non-evasive and easy to apply technique.
My experience using EFT
I am experienced EFT Practitioner and I have been using this technique successfully with my clients for several years with often quite dramatic results to unblock emotional and psychological symptoms issues. I am fully insured and registered with AAMET (Association of Advanced Meridian Energy Therapists).
How does EFT work?
Blockages in our energy system, in addition to challenging us emotionally, often lead to limiting beliefs and behaviors and an inability to live life harmoniously. Resulting symptoms are either emotional and/ or physical and include lack of confidence and self-esteem, feeling stuck anxious or depressed, or the emergence of compulsive and addictive behaviors. It is also now finally, widely accepted that emotional disharmony is a key factor in physical symptoms and dis-ease and for this reason these techniques are being extensively used on physical issues, including chronic illness with often astounding results. As such these techniques are being accepted more and more in medical and psychiatric circles as well as in the range of psychotherapies and healing disciplines.

The Hand Tapping Points in Emotional Freedom Technique
Tapping different parts of your body is central to Emotional Freedom Technique, an increasingly popular energy therapy. This figure illustrates the tapping points on the finger and gamut – the crease on the back of your hand between your little finger and ring finger. Note that all the finger points are on the outside edge of the finger where the nail meets the skin.
